Hi i am new here and i have no idea what i am doing if someone can help me, i downloaded mc killer to try to recover my ps2 8mb memory card, because i have all data corrupted and i cannot copy files nor save files onto the memory card, i have a modchip (its an infinity, one of the newer ones 1.9 something) and i burned mc killer onto a cd-r and when i put it in my ps2 it goes straight to the browser and it shows the disc as a ps2 disc and when i click on it it goes to a black screen and takes me to the browser again can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong, please?!
all right im using an imation cd-r and i havent used imgburn yet cuz it doesnt seem to work for me, and yes my ps2 does play original games, what i did was just practically "copy and paste" the files into the cd

Ok well thats why it won't work.
You need to select the .cue file and burn it. Not sure why imgburn doesn't work for you. It should work fine if using the latest version.
sorry for the double post but it was the cd, and i burned it and i put it in my ps2 and it works and when i press start to format the memory card it says formatting failed :|, why?
Or you can use the 'Memory Card Annihilator v1.0'
You will have to translate the page in google - http://www.cdrinfo.pl/download/8133012839 and then translate the 'tutorial' in google.
It is much newer and better memory card formater.
thanks but it seems to be working now, it saves and i can copy stuff from my other memory card to it, dunno why it said it failed but its working now. thanks anyway though
