Playstation 2 DVD not detected by PC DVD player

Hi everyone,
I have been trying to make isos of my ps2 original dvds, but the DVD player does not recognize my PS2 games, it acts as if there was no dvd inserted. I tried with 3 different games which work fine on the PS2, and my DVD player also works fine with other DVDs (video, data).

If I run DVD Decrypter it says "Device not ready, Medium Not present, Tray Closed).

I'm running Windows Vista Home Edition 32 bits on a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop, and my DVD Player is an Optiarc dvd rw ad-7561S.

Sorry if this has been answered before, I read the stickies and searched through the forums but couldn't find anything ! Thanks for the feedback.
