The best PS2 dvd copier is DVD Decrypter, or you can use imgburn.

It creates the ISO image, then use the same program to burn the ISO image you created.

You need to first patch the ISO images with esr disc patcher v2.4a

To play games off USB drive, it is first best to find an External UsB drive that has its own power adaptor( plugs into wall outlet)

Then use this tool USBUtility V2 to copy games to hdd

PS2Load Injector v1.0 by ISEKO - another tool used to help the compatibility of games on USB drives.

You will need the USBAdvance elf file

Sorry to but in here but after reading many post i came to the conclusion that playing via a USB HDD would not be worth it as the ps2 USB port are USB1 and the games would lag, skip and possibly play slow and choppy.

This is why i want to get a FAT ps2 as you can use a IDE hard drive and this seems to be the be the best route to play from a HDD.

I also have a slim ps2 and i am using the freemcboot method to load my backups without any problems so as SMOKYRAIN says, just take an image of the game with DVD decrypter, patch it with esr disk pathcher, burn the game and that's it.

Although i found that the media used to do this and the burn speed is vital to a successful backup.

let us know how you get on so othwers can learn from our mistakes!!!
