Well I've got a strange problem with Star Ocean, I've read up on the forums in other places here also that they've had the same problem with all Square Enix games.

The problem is that wherever the .iso is viewed, it only has 3 files and not all of the files. It would appear that Square Enix has some sort of protection initiated however I'm not so sure.

Because of this I cannot use it in HDL Dump and there doesn't seem to be any way to get it to show all of the files.

I've searched all over and found no ways that worked, I've tried re-building but when I get to the extract IML file stage...it won't extract because of something about sectors being under 5000.

I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to get this game working? I've got two copies of the game, both of them are different and both of them have the same issue.

I've had this issue with no other games for the PS2 so far, any ideas?

Hdl_dump does not need to see all the files, only the ISO image.

Just create the backup using imgburn, and then copy the ISO image to your hdd.
