Problem with installing discs on Toxic OS

I am a mac user and I have burned games (using Disc Utility) and successfully installed them in Toxic OS. Some of them are burned to the slowest and all the sudden when at 70% or so, the OS would say that an error has occurred and that continuing could make the game not work right. This has happened for 3 games I have burned, and I am curious as to why it would do that. They are scratch free and burned at 2x.

I also read that PS2 Video Y-Fix can be a problem and turning it off can make it work.

I am confused and I hope I can get guidance.
