Trouble Backing up RPG Maker 3

Hi everyone. Recently I've been trying to backup rpg maker 3. I have freemcboot on my ps2 wich is a fat one. The iso patches successfully then it burns successfully however, when i go to boot the game it goes through esr then i go to run the game from freemcboot and it just goes to a black screen and does nothing. Ive wasted 3 dvd-rs already if somebody can help i would really appreciate it. =)
