Can't figure out why PSX backups wont work.

Hey everyone. First, let me list what my setup is.

v9 PS2 with aftermarket flip top.
Swap Magic 3.6 CD+DVD
LaunchELF v4.39
Cogswaploader.elf
PSXloader.elf
FMCB v1.8
I think that should cover it.

I want to play my FF7 backups and I have done it before where you just swap the disk after (or is it during?) the Playstation logo and it worked fine. Well now every time I try it just freezes on a black screen and I can't figure out any other ways to get it to boot.

So considering what I have, what can I do, or what do I need to get in order to boot this backup?

EDIT: My trigger disc was dead. I'm using a different CD now on PSXLoader.elf and it's working just fine.
