None of the programs burn anymore...

Hi people.
A few days ago I started making copies of my games and managed to burn several in just a few minutes.
However after that all programs started to give me problems
Alcohol (among others) would start burning but then eject the cd more or less a minute after...

The CDs I use are TDK CD-R80 52x, before and after the problems. Hardware is 2008 made and software latest versions.
I have tried this with SEALED BRAND new games back-ups and it's still the same so I don't think it's because of files being corrupt.
I did not change any option whatsoever, so I hope any of you people who know (definitely more than me) to use the PC better could help me

I wasn't too sure by the images, but I am guessing you are burning a .ccd file.
Then use Clone CD to burn them.

All of them can burn ccd files and WERE actauallly burning them just fine. The screen errors started all of a sudden. The point is , I don't understand what they mean lol

Your right they can all burn .ccd files.
Well from what I can see, where it says "Check your registry"
Something has caused an error.
I would say to reinstall your program, and see if you get the same problem.

First, thank you for the replies.
Second, ALL of the programs are not functioning properly. What I don't understand is why did they stop all of the sudden and what the heck is ImgBurn (second pic) saying :S

In imgburn, there is a log file if you go to View>click on log
What does it say?

As for your Alcohol 120 problem, I would need to see what it shows behind the error screen image.

You can ignore that error.
I can't mate. It ruins my cds each and everytime. Same for Alcohol. In order to just see what you are asking me I would have to sacrifice another CD. But I think I will try it once more after uninstalling ImgBurn as I think my problems started after I installed it along NeroEsentials (the free version)

Ok about all I can figure is that it is a problem with your burner.
Check this thread out and follow the instructions by 'Robinson Zhang'
See if that doesn't help.

Smokyrain, I have to humbly request your assistance once again, hoping I am not bothering you too much.
After opening a thread on that site and being ignored by more than 100 viewers, I decided to give it a try, although I have always been scared of messing with registry files. But since my free trial of Alcohol is about to expire and over 25 RAR GB-s of backup files are slowing down my PC I decided to give it a try.
Step 1, every burning software removed.
Step 2, I managed to save a backup.reg file no problemo

but I can't do anything about step 2.4, about which Mr Zhang says to check if Upperfilters and Lowerfilters value are present but I don't see anything about filters :S

You do just uninstall it, then reboot your computer and it will redetect it.
As for the backup reg file. If things aren't working properly. Then just double click it and it will restore.
I would then reboot again.

That sounds more like the burner itself is not recognizing any DVD's put in the tray. I could be wrong though.

Now this is getting weirder and I am three times pissed off.
I tried both steps mentioned above, and restarted the notebook each time. Nothing new, just more discs wasted.
However since I ran out of CD-s, I tried DVD-s. While my PC had trouble recognizing them (Verbatim DVD-R 16x, good quality, no doubt) in the end I managed to burn 3! So it can burn DVD-s, but not CD-s!! WTH It does not make sense at all.
And if it weren't enough, while it would burn the DVD-s, they won't play the same
:
Ar Tonelico 2 : works wonderfully, tried 3 times, loaded each time.
Chaos Wars : MagicSwap will accept, and the controller's analog light would tun on, but the screen remain black
Warriors Orochi 2 : Same as Chaos Wars, unless I did not insert a Memory Card. In those cases, it would actually show the window in which it notifies me about the lack of it and ask me if I want to continue. If I make a choice it just turns black again
So I doubt the games don't work because of fiels being damaged/corrupt. But then it's just... weird.
What speed do you suggest buning PS2 isos, smokyrain? I followed the advice of someone who has a blog on this stuff (and he IS a pro) and he says to burn them at half the blank DVD-s max speed. That's why in these cases I burned them at 8x. However I then gave a look at some DVD-s a friend of mine gifted to me, and they were burned on crappy Princo 1-4x DVD-s. So do you think that the above problem could be due to burning higher speed than required?

Yes that sux...some burners are just crap, lol. I hate to say it.
For those 2 games that just went black, try pressing Special on the Swap Magic and see if they work then.
What that guy says about burning is usually true, but also does depend upon peoples burner's.
So you could try burning them at 4x also to see if it makes a difference or not.
As for the CD-R, you could try a different brand to burn, I don't know if it would help or not. Something you may want to try.

Man , I had already tried every option of Magic Swap, although to this day I have no idea what Special Boost does. No matter, I know now that those 2 files were corrupt.
What I did tonight was use ImgBurn, as Alcohol expired (and I think ImgBurn can burn anything, unlinke the others)
This is what it gives me once it reches 100%

At first I tried WO2 and did insert the disc once again...only for it to restart writing. Then I tried to burn other 4 without pushing the DVD back in the tray. All of them are playing fine.
But why oh Lord does the software ask me re-insert the DVD, when it is actually done with it??? sigh...And the weirdness continues...LOL
Anyways I am definitely gonna try another type of CD-s, Verbatim and/or Sony for the PSX-iso-s. I doubt it's gonna work, but I've gotta try.
Thank you a thousand times for bearing with me, smokyrain. I had checked three pages back before I opened this thread and noticed that many people did not even bother to thank such a devoted person.

Hi, YOu need to unclick verify... then it won't ask you that anymore.
I am not sure what Special Boot does, but I do know I had PS2 Shadow the Hedgehog PAL, and my PS2 was NTSC
Everytime I played I would get Black Screen, unless I pressed Special Boot.

Man those 2 games were not back-ups. I got them through a "certain" way. So they must have ben corrupt, seeing as every single back-up of mine was burned successfully.
And LOL, I was looking around the forums last night and found a post saying to burn PSX iso-s at 4x. I tried it and....surprise, It worked!!
To think I have wasted all these discs and time googling :(

Oh ok gotcha - I have heard a lot of people who have problems with those type of discs.
Its funny about ps1 backups... I have always burned mine at 1/4 of the CD-R speed or around 12-18x and they work fine.
But a lot of people these days report burning slower. Go figure.
If it works though that is the thing.
You are always going to have a few coasters when first backing up games. It is just a given, until you find the speed of burning that works for your PS2.
