Ok so my problem is i can't get any of my backups to work i have a chipped original psx system (chunky one) i have used several programs magic iso/ alcohol 120%/ nero ect, but the only one that seems to work at the slightest is alcohol 120% it gets to the pxs logo screen then freezes, i am using a downloaded iso/bin/cue ect but i do own the original game just my disc is to damaged to use. I have tried burning at 4X speed with a cd drive with cd-RW disc's the brand is Verbatim,
Im running short on ideas so any help would be much appricieated

cd-r .. rw don't usually read at all... try a few different brands too.. they vary.

Hi there. I suppose the problem is not because of ISOs. It can be a bad motor on your KHM440. Often ps1 consoles do not read or as you write "it gets to the pxs logo screen then freezes" because a hub has an oval form and spindle do not spin correctly. Try to change it with an appropriate one from a dvd player or install a new. For example - RF-300EH. Or it can be a bad laser diod, but there is no reason fixing it.
