psx memorycard does not work for backups

hey guys i bought this wierd 32 meg/480block ps1 memory card and it works fine for my original ps1 games but when i try to save off of my backups it has trouble reading the card and wont work

That is probably because its not an official Sony PS1 memory card.
I would just suggest to use the 32mb for your Originals then, and use an Original PS1 memory card for the backups.

Np, thats the best I can tell you.

I have had similar issues with PS2 games and third party memory cards or just larger size memory cards.
A lot of games will work with them and some won't.
