Can you boot from unlocked HDD with duoX2 mod chip?

Hi i just stuffed up a softmod and before i buy 1 i was just wondering if i can boot from a unlocked HDD with the MS dash on it with a DuoX2.

Locked or unlocked yes,however if the files on the dash are corrupted you may have to reinstall them,don't panic x-wizard or the later AID 4.5 can do it as well as setup everything else,AID or x-wizard can be got from torrents,if you can't find the torrent use xbins
