error 21 help!!!

error 21 help!!!

I have tried many things, getting a game and updating the dashboard by attempting to get on xbox live. I can't ftp because when i try the installer it just goes straight to error 21. It started by me f***ing up my xbox because i tried to remove the softmod by some thing inside of the files. (don't remember and was a stupid idea) Then when i started my xbox it would give me 2 options launch disc, and settings. then i tried to put the original dash by ftp with what i thought were backups. then it went back to m$ dash but when i started up my xbox it would bring up xbox live and say xbox live became unresponsive. So i tried resoftmodding it but when i tried a new version of krayzie (which i was using before) i got error 21 and i can't ftp it. I downloaded a stock dashboard but can't ftp. I used my old xp computer that sits in the basement collecting dust and PREFERABLY wouldn't want to set it up. (btw if i go to settings and then network settings it brings it up also.)
