messed up eeprom is solid red.. not all colours.. that's a general hardware fault, jumpers wrong, ide cable off.. something like that. It could be connectors folded over on the controller ports too.. that's a little known one.
llammas xbox site.. that's where you need to look.

Foul language removed, you even spelt that wrong.
Oh and the thread title could have been better.

wow... did you drop out of elementary school or something? Is that even possible?
You need more help than i can give
Here's a link to help you with your xbox problems
Make sure you have the correct eeprom.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/357863
Read the entire thing 50 times so you're confident you know what you're doing.
If you weren't soldering to the board and if it's just a software fault then you should be able to fix it. If you were soldering then you have to track down the trace or pad you destroyed and fix it.
Good luck

Solderless adaptors are complete garbage. Learn how to solder or just softmod your xbox.

For your 1.6 if you can hotswap you can fix that xbox in about 2 minutes. Download the file in my sig (cheater 1.4-1.6) and use my softmod files on your xbox.

For the 1.1 you'll have to take the xbox motherboard out of the case and look around for any damaged traces or lifted pads. If it doesn't have video it's a hardware issue (red/green lights on front).
and for your 1.6
http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-120/...crap_it-823130/
There's a couple links to hotswap
Back when the xbox was first softmodded there was an exploit to get to the modded dash. You had to place an audio cd in the xbox and go though a button sequence to get to your modded dash. Now if you plugged in your power first and accidently hit the power button without plugging in the av cord the xbox would unmod itself and be stuck at the msdash again. Then to fix it you had to rerun the exploit and replace a the st.db file in E: somewhere. Needless to say...i've done that more than once.

with the 1.1 i do know its not the mobo it worked fine till I used AID auto installer on it to add more stuff it wouldn't boot to any thing but the evox dash so i flashed it with the bios from that installer not shure wich one it's been a while and the end result was the fragging wit no video

Well yeah you can make a paperweight pretty fast if you go flashing the bios. Did you use a tutorial or did you just select the option?
Here's the tutorial you should have used.
Sounds like that board is junk unless you rip it apart and reflash it somehow. If i were you i'd go on ebay and buy another one. Just work on that 1.6 for now and at least get 1 working.

Quote: 7 - kernel - HDD timeout
Most of the times, the IDE cable is not properly connected when you see this error. Please reattach the ide cable. Not only to the harddisk drive but also to the dvd drive. ALso try to reconnect the ide cable to the motherboard.
Press pretty hard so it goes all the way in. Make sure it is seated straight and proper in the drives and the motherboard. If you still have an error 7. Try another ide cable. If that won't work try another harddisk. If there is still no go, try to set the jumpers on the rearside of the harddisk drive. Set it to master or cable select.
Looks like you don't have the ide cable plugged in all the way.
