Just chasing a 2nd opinion. I asked a shop that does the firmware mods for the 360 about flashing the firmware. My xbox manufacture date is feb 2010. He said as its relatively new, the only firmware option would allow playing copied games. I really want to back up to the hard drive. Just wanted to confirm that what he has told me is correct.

Not sure what other hardware details i should supply to make answers more accurate, so let me know if i need to provide more details.
