Hey Fahrum. That's what I like to call you forum people. I know, lame intro.
I use my Superdrive in my macbook 5.1 to backup games, it supports DVD+R DL (or is it DVD-R DL, i never remember ;) )
Anyways, since about 4 weeks ago, everything has run smoothly. That was until i tried out to backup some new-released games. And i know, i've patched the latest LT+ and i've run the ISOs through ABGX 1.0.4 before burning.. but every time i've done it the games come out not working. I can see the title of the game and the picture, that works.. but when i'm going to start the game, it doesn't work. Sometimes it runs for about 3 minutes or so, letting me see the title and you know intro stuff.
When i backed up- oh let's say a rather popular game including assassins and some kind of bro-hood. My macbook superdrive would let me burn the game in 4x, but not in 2.4x. I've tried it with IMGburn, using parallels(Which works like 50% of the time otherwise), iBurn and X360_ISO_HACKER. None of the programs will let me burn it in 2.4x.. But when it comes to another game, it will let me burn it in 2.4x! Here's the question: This seems to be a burner-thing, should i get an external burner, and if so, could someone point me to a mac compatible burner? Thanks ;)
