I need help with my 79FL Drive

I need to know what discs I need to be using to create back ups for my xbox 360 hitachi 79 FL drive, it's already flashed. If you could provide the exact type of disc, and also the brand, that would be great.

Also, I'm not too sure on how exactly i create the back ups, do i need some sort of software to get the data from my original xbox 360 game, to a blank disc?
