buffer i/0 error hdd clone chimp 2.4

i just got a WD 200 gb, its lockable and all that. my xbox is softmodded and has chimp 2.4 and im running evox.

I cannot get the clone done. I tried several times and once thought i had it cloned but chimp screwed up when i went to lock it. so i started over and double checked that it was lockable, then unlocked it. now i get a whole slew of buffer i/o error header blah blah.

so whats the deal? is it still locked? or what?
