Hello I need some help to understand what type of modification has been done to my Xbox360 that allows me to play backup copies of my original games.
I purchased the Xbox360 with the mod already completed, the guy i bought it from said that the type of mod he did would not get the console banned from xbox live. He then proceeded to put in a backed up copy of modern warfare 2 and went live with no issues. He told me there was no software or flashing done. He said it had to do with "probing and the amount of times the led flashed that unlocked the drive". Does anyone recognize this type of modification. The reason I ask is because BulletStorm wants to do an update and I'm not sure if it will mess up the Modd? I have played hundreds of backed games and never had to patch them. Any incite to this dilemma would be greatly appreciated.
