Okay, long and frustrating story short, I'm not entirely sure what is going on here..
I have a v 1.0 xbox(Avalaunch Dashboard and XBMC as an application), connected to my pc via crossover cable and card(LAC 4). My pc in turn connects to the internet via usb adapter(WNC 3) to wirless router.
Through Avalaunch, I configured ip address as 192.168.0.104, default subnet mask, no gateway at the moment till I find out what to do, DNS is what I found though command prompt on my PC. I have network enabled, DCHP disabled, Proxy Disabled on Avalaunch.
I had it set up to FTP no problem last night, then tried to get it on the internet through the advanced tab of LAC 4 network properties. I set up the gateway to be my computer's internet ip address, and got a constant "acquiring network address". So I unclicked the allow internet connection sharing on LAC4, and then I could not ftp in.
Today, I changed the ip address in my pc network connections to 192.168.0.110, with the xbox still .0.104, and I can ftp again. Now, when I try to share the internet connection on LAC4, I get an error that says "Internet Connection Sharing cannot be enabled. A LAN connection is already configured with the ip address that is required for automatic ip addressing"
I'm very tired, so if this didn't make sense, please let me know, I'll be more specific if I can. Even writing it was starting to confuse me...
