I flashed my Hitachi 47 about 6 months ago with i extreme 1.4 and it worked perfect, (here is my question) but i sent it out to have the RROD repaired, (not to Microsoft) and when i got it back it ceased to play my burned backup games. The console though, would still play my original games. can a flashed drive revert back to original state when repaired or worked on? And should i restore original firmware before i flash the drive again, or just flash i extreme back to the drive? Thanx in advance for any replies.

Zman

P.S. I did search the forums and I saw nothing referring to this particular subject.

it is possible that who ever repaired it redid the drive to its original firmware or replaced it or who knows could be an entirely new xbox that they just transfered profiles and all that to new one and did whatever with the RROD one
