XBMC python issues?

I believe its Python anyway...just from my experience of running Linux on my computer. I have an original XBox that I just recently soft-modded (I didn't really have an interest in it because I didn't really play the XBox much, and the little I did play it, I didn't want to risk bricking my XBox). Its got the stock 8 GB hard drive, and its only soft-modded. I'm liking the system a lot more, and find myself playing around with XBMC a lot more than my PC.

Now, to my problem (lol). There are some addons that I have downloaded, installed (or tried to install, keep reading), and tried to run, but it goes to the start up screen, and an error message pops up saying something along the line....-hops to XBox to bring it up again-...

Python script failed:

special://home/plugins/<plugin directory>/default.py

The <plugin directory> I put in because it changes with the plugin I'm tryin' to use.
One of them is the Family Guy video plugin. I forget what the others are, and quite frankly, too lazy to find out. I just want to know WHY I'm getting this error, its starting to drive me up the wall
