Ok so, here's my problem. I'm loath to spend money on a softmod, considering I picked up this perfectly fine xbox for $10. My computer only has 1 IDE slot, so unless there is a version of XboxHDM that I have somehow missed in all my searching that allows you to use a SATA drive, thats out. So, all I'm left with is Xplorer360. I DID get it to work once, and I installed my softmod using that, but when I powered on my xbox it said the dashboard was missing. So I went back to my comp and somehow partition 4 (e drive) got deleted?? So I had to reformat my xbox harddrive using an ancient program called xhdprepa, and now xplorer360 gives me a cannot find fatx drive error, while the older program fat-x-plorer can see the drive, although it crashes often. I do know that I have the partitions back (0-4). Any help? :(
