Help recover Samsung SGH-E740 contacts

I have a Samsung SGH-E740, with no back up for contacts which are more that the SIM can hold. The phone has a fully discharged battery and will not charge, because the mains charger socket on the phone is blocked by bent pins left there by a faulty charger plug!

To recover the contacts first requires a charged battery from another compatible phone. I do not want to buy another phone etc as they cost £80 plus and I have never been very happy with the E740.

Can anyone lend or sell me a fully charged battery? I'd be most grateful for any help.

The battery for the SGH-E740 is model no is AB483640BE, although I understand that AB533640BECSTD may work as well. Phones that take this battery include other SGH- models J200, Z170, and perhaps M610, F110, L600, J600, J610, J608, and M600.
