I modded my psp slim a few years back and now my friend wants his psp modded too. His is a psp phat with ofw 6.2. I have vista and 7 at the house, so many of the programs (even the "vista friendly" ones) aren't working at making a mms for him. Any suggestions, or directions to guides for this

Uh... Maybe a bit more info may be needed... Well I'll try.

1) If you already haven't Try PSP Pandora Deluxe, its great!
2) See if there isn't another CPU you cant use with XP on it.
3) Doy you know anyone with an MMS, if yes then borrow theirs.

I dunno, can you give a little more info? I tried Despertar del Cementerio v8 like two years ago, but it was the best thing I have ever used! I didn't even need to format my MS!. It is a bit dated, I think the last version only supported 5.00M33-6 :)

[PSPWXP STATS]
PSP: [PSP N1001 (WHITE)][6.60 PRO-B10][8GB M2]
PS VITA: [PCH 1002][1.66][16GB MEMORY CARD]

I wouldn't turn an original battery into a Pandora one, just buy one for example at www.dealextreme.com, they are around 5 US$ delivered worldwide and an original battery turned into a pandora one won't power your system anymore. Yes, cou can unpandora it (is that even a word?) but if you don't know what you are doing you might end up breaking it and a new original battery is by far more expensive than 5 US$.
Also there are some good MMS makers, just google for them. Also make sure to get a memory stick with 2 gb or lower to be turned into a mms, larger ones sometimes have problems.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
