I'm wanting to use iso2eboot to convert/sign some isos that are a bit over the limit for the program's parameters..
we're talking 800 - 900mb files. I was thinking that I could extract and repack the isos, deleting nonessential files in the process. What do you guys think?

I don't know if this is helpful, but I know the program UMDGen has the ability to optimize ISOs, and you can actually convert them to CSOs for a less space-consuming compression.
Also, with UMDGen, you can manually delete sections of ISOs (If you want to remove the music or movies).

Thanks. I've been using umdgen to perform surgery on some of the isos that I'm trying to fit into the -720mb category (to play them on a pspgo with 6.37ofw). I've had success with a couple of the tough ones (gta:Chinatown and disgaea 2: DHD), but the one that really irked me was disgaea: aod. I couldn't get in to trim files because (aside from the update folder) the whole game is one big 800mb .dat file.

This whole obsession of mine is a bit neurotic, since I also have a perfectly good (hacked with 5.50 Prometheus) psp 2004... I just love the pspgo's form-factor.
