I was about to try help my friend handle the PSP3004 when I realized he updated it to 6.37.

Is PSP 3004 with 6.37 update possible to hack in order to run iso/cso/pbp media?

I am the Insight.

I thought he made a big mistake, but I wasn't sure. I guess we wait.

Btw...howcome it isn't possible for a sony servis to somehow reset the update to default?

I am the Insight.

Sorry I gonna be a noob here, I have a psp but hardly ever play on it.

Is there a cfw for the 3000 model available? Am currently on a prometheus, one before the keys came out.

Was thinking with the keys out there should be a permanent cfw for the 3000 by now, didnt like having to repeatedly run the exploit on prometheus.

There is no permanent firmware for 3000 yet, because for that you'd need a kernel mode exploit. On 3000 all they got so far is user mode exploits. But there are some signed non-permanent CFWs, when using one of them you don't have to run the exploit again.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

the keys only allow you to run homebrew apps from the xmb without HEN. The keys does not make the cfw permanent. All PSP 2000 with TA88v3/3000/GO all have unwritable IPLs which means that the CFW reverts back to OFW when the PSP is turned off. and correction prometheus is not a exploit you must mean something like HEN

@Eishez
Even if there is a kernel mode exploit found the IPL for 2000 with TA88v3/3000/GO cant be written on so there will never be a permanent CFW for it

the only non permanent CFW for PSP 3000/Go are only

5.03 GEN-A(Only for 3000)
5.03 GEN-B(Only for 3000)
5.03 GEN-C(Only for 3000)
6.20 TN-A
6.20 TN-B
6.20 TN-C
6.20 TN-D
6.35 PRO-A
6.35 PRO-A1
6.35 PRO-A2
6.35 PRO-A3
6.35 PRO-A4
6.35 PRO-B
6.35 PRO-B2

while there are also these non permanent CFWs for PSP 2000

6.35 Custom Firmware v16
and 6.35 ME v5

Never say never:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/2011/03/07/poc-permanent-cfw-is-possible/#more-18573
Also it's 6.37 ME v5, which is indeed (like 6.35 Custom Firmware BETA v16) a permanent custom firmware.
