hi ive got an old 360 with a hitachi 079 drive flashed to 1.3, i use wave patcher to play latest games, patched to wave 2, if i run the latest firmware update, will it flash the drive back to stock??, will gow3 be patchable back to wave 2 and then burn it with the new imgburn

I'm no expert on the new media.. but i'm going to go with no due to the new games can only be played with 2.0 as it tricks the drive into believing it's a different disc type..

The FW for hitachi has not been released to support the new format. Patching is not possible.
