The newly formed RGH Development Team at Xecuter HQ are proud to announce that all Phat consoles have now been defeated and are totally glitch-able without having a previous NAND dump or CPU KEY (the same applies to Slim Trinity that have been updated to 14717/14719) !
Codenamed RGH 2.0, new features introduced:
* Hack now works on new CB's (14717/14719 update)
* Hack now works with all Refurbished Split CB's (4577, 5772, 6752)
* - Zephyr CB 4577, 4575
* - Falcon/Opus CB 5772, 5773
* - Jasper CB 6752, 6753
* - Trinity (Slim) CB 9230
To confirm, we can now glitch Phats with any kernel and any bootloader. As soon as you have your CPU KEY, and you are using an Xecuter DemoN you will ALWAYS be able to switch to a fully hacked NAND and it can never be stopped no matter what update you apply and no matter which efuses are blown !
We will be helping the J-Runner team to implement all of the new code which will allow you to build a patched ecc for any Phat NAND / Kernel / Bootloader.
The Xenon RGH hack will also be released however the quality of glitching seems to be as poor as the infamous Zephyr. No doubt once its out there users can tweak away at it and get some better results, the feeling here is that it's time wasted at the moment when we should be working on Corona. Currently it's a "repair" method at best to rescue DVD keys.
This is a new style of RGH hack (hence RGH 2.0) and there will be a new JED file, changes to the CoolRunner design, changes to the QSB's and possibly new install methods (we'll also show you how to change your older version TX CoolRunner to be compatible with the new hack, and initial tests have shown that other cheaper versions of RGH hardware will not work at all).
Work on fine tuning the hack is currently ongoing to make it as solid as possible, however we hope to have everything ready asap.
Members of our team are also working hard on the new Slim Corona model and can tell you that great progress has made made there too. We'll just say that we feel bad for anyone who paid good money for any glitch mod that was advertised as being "Corona Ready".
Stay tuned for more news :)
Thanks to Tiros & GliGli for their initial work on the RGH hack. Without them none of this would have been possible.

No, it isn't. Get an xkey and maybe MS will block it with an upcoming update. Get this one and you will never have to update a drive again and MS can't block it. And you can repair update mistakes and so on.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

I am kinda with King on this one. The xkey sounds like the best solution. I highly doubt that MS could ever block the xkey simply cause of how it works.

Modking, you pimp the key too damned hard and too damned much Bro, the same way you used to pimp the Lizard. Your answer to practically every post is "Such and such is stupid, get an xkey".
Truthfully, the only "real" advantage of an xkey over the RGH is playing on Xbox Live. That's it's advantage. But some people don't care about Live at all and don't need it. And that's the group the RGH is targeted at. I got a Key and have only played it once or twice on Live. Other than that, I haven't played on Live in almost 6 months, and I actually don't even miss it.
The advantage of the RGH is DLC, XBLA, Emulators, Future Homebrew, and who knows what else.
The Key is cool and all, but not everyone's forté. Hell, it's not even everyone's thirté or twenté. (and considering you need at least nineté bucks for it, the RGH looks damned good).

But that is you eebeejay. Most of the xbox community likes playing online and such. Few dont use live for something. I personally enjoy live very much. Yes the xkey is like 100 bucks but it really is worth it to play backups online vs playing them offline.

Seriously? For playing online I got my PS3, there I don't have to pay a buck for online play (not that I play much online after all). With my last box (the one that got RROD just a few days ago) I only went online for the DivX update. If I ever get an Xbox 360 again I realy consider this hack.

Again that is you. This is not a PS3 VS 360 war...This is the difference between two hacks of which both have their differences and appeal to different people. I play alot online and would rather have that than no online. Not to say i wont RGH my old 360 to enjoy both but for most gamers the xkey or flashing the drive is the best way to enjoy game backups and online, and is what most would rather have.

And now that's only you. How can you say that "most gamers want online gaming"? You do the exact same thing that you blame me and eebeejay of, you generalize from your oppinion. About 1/4 of all PS3s and Xbox 360 sold so far have never even been online + those already banned (which isn't a small figure of those consoles hacked). I actually doubt that most players who hack their consoles want online gaming.
Oh yea, almost forgot my source for that 1/4 number I gave above:

Again not having a war with you. If you just wanna fanboy do it some place else.
You just spit some statistics that ultimatly mean your doom in this argument. Yes the RGH has its uses but were talkin online here. 1/4th of thoe consoles have ever been online so that means that 3/4 of them have been and probably 1/2 of those use online regularly. now how many of those hacked is impossible to tell for ethier argument but lets just use the data avaliabe to us.
if 1/2 of the consoles made are stil currently online then we can safely assume that more than 2 of them are hacked. By what you say the RGH is better cause you dont use online well the millions of people who DO use online agree with my side of things. A hacked console online is better than a hacked console offline. Sure there are people out there that dont play online but that doesnt mean that the ones who do would prefer to stay offline just for DLC and Homebrew. Having two consoles yea go for it but you play online all the time the the RGH is not for you. Simply put if you dont play online EVER then use RGH want to play online then xkey/firmware hack.

Demon, you said to me, "That is you". Then you also said to Eisherz, "That is you". The definition of that statement simply means "That is you personal opinion/preference". So why is it so hard for you to see that not everyone wants your personal preference, which is Xbox Live?
Xbox Live, my friend, "that is you". Oh, wait a minute, it happens to be me also, but the difference seems to be that I understand that not all think like me, and not all have my preference, which is why I posted the topic in the first place, for those interested in the Glitch. I didn't think anyone would try to force-feed his preference down the throats of those interested in the Glitch.
As I stated before, I have an Xkey, and although I don't have an RGH box, I understand that it IS a preference for a LOT of people, which (again) is why I decided to post this info.
You said "blah blah such and such blah blah blah but for most gamers the xkey or flashing the drive is the best way to enjoy game backups and online, and is what most would rather have". I agree with that statement. But once you used the word "most", that means it doesn't include everyone, which (again again) is why this thread was created.
On a side note: I've modded (flashed, jtag'd, glitched) close to 140 Xbox 360 consoles, and about a third of those customers don't play online. So non Live-ers are out there.

No we're not talking online. You brought online into this conversation. RGH is not about online. Online didn't even need to come up. That's like me looking at your Prius and saying, OK but it won't do 130mph like my Challenger SRT. That's not the reason you got the Prius. It has it's own advantages.

I said that exactly it is your personal choice. And said many times that each has its own advantage. You jumped down Modking's throat and preached about the RGH basically. You mentioned online at this point and i pointed out that there are more people that want online than dont i said it simply and didnt cause a fuss. Eisherz Tried to make this a console war and sit statistics on how the RGH is better cause HE doesnt want online. I Said it many times and i ask you to read and re-read what i wrote i said that both are good and i may even do both. As you did i pointed out advantages and disadvantages of each. Eisherz is the one being fanboy here. I am not in any way pushing my view onto any one i am simply saying what is good. If you dont wanna play online yea go for it but if not the xkey is the new wave for all of this.

Are you kidding me? Who is fanboying? I have (had) both consoles and like them both.
If anybody is fanboying, then you are, for the Xkey. But hey, that's you. And now I am out of this discussion.

And eebeejay i apologise for being one of the reasons your thread blew up the wrong way. I will agree it is kinda cool to be able to "jtag" again though for the record.
Eisherz, every moment you could bring up the PS3 vs 360 you did even after i refused to have the argument with you...nothing in this thread is about the PS3 or even closely related..

this is really great news, it's nice to see the homebrew scene so quick to rebound. Not to long ago homebrew seemed like it was dying slowly but not anymore.

Homebrew is my main reason for interest in the RGH. What I want is XBMC (or something very close). Then I could die peacefully.
