Hi everyone i have an alternative to JungleFlasher, Its called Dosflash64 and Firmware Toolbox. Dont wory you 32-bit people there is a Dosflash 32 (I have not tried it tho) and i guess it runs the same. I have only tried this in a samsung ms28 so if anyone would try it on other drive and report back that would be great. You do not have to have DOS to use it, I have used it on Windows Xp 64-bit. To use DosFlash64 you put it somewhere easely accessible (I put mine i the root of the C: drive) and then you fire up command prompt. Then you cd to the folder you put DosFlash in (E.g. C:). Then you run DosFlash64 by typing DosFlash64 or dosflash32 if your using it. If your lucky like me it will detect your drive strait away, If not you will need to resend your intro commend. Press yes then unplug the dvd drive's power then reconnect it quickly. If all goes well the drive should be detected, Now it should show your drives info. Go ahead and select read flash from the dropdown list and press read flash. It should now show your drive key. Now your will want to copy your drivekey ether to the clipboard (By pressing ctrl+c) or copying it to a text document. Now you should always save your original firmware but this guide does not cover that, plus you can find the original firmware for your drive in many sites. Now you will need to find some modified firmware, Go into Firmware Toolbox and load up your modified firmware. Now you will need to copy your key into this firmware from where ever you saved it, Then press save key. Now go back into Dosflash64 and select write flash from the dropdown list and fress write flash, You will need to select your modified firmware and press ok, now it will start wrtiting to the drive, once its done your finsihed. If i have made any misstakes please feel free to tell me.

Have Fun

Bro, I assume you are new to the flashing community! The programs you are talking about were used about 6 years ago. Most people have moved on to a easier way, unless their system will not run JungleFlasher. What are you trying to do here, write a tut for DoSFlash? If so, its been done. As far as I know all drives can still be flashed using this method.

I had trouble with all other methods, This is the only thing i could find that worked.
There were alot of people that asked me to make this tut, so this is for people that the other methods did not work for.
