the other day when i was trying to figure out why my xbox 360 dvd drive laser wasnt moving i removed the drive only to find out the s3 wire on the back of my benq drive had come off the pcb board. does that wire make a difference if not connected? if so would it possibly be the reason my laser isnt moving? also can i take my worm motor from my old benq drive and swap them out? any help is greatly appreciated

i soldered the wire back to the pcb board but still no luck getting jungle flasher to detect my drive :(
