Would this be good?

Verbatim-95310-Recordable-20-Disc-Spindle (Amazon)

I know everyone says to use Singapore version but this is all I could find for a reasonable price thats not kodak or memorex.

Im using this burner if it helps

Sony-Optiarc-Speed-Burner-5280S-CB-PLUS (Amazon)

Sorry I didn't include the links as I can't because I am new to the forums.

I'm in the U.S. I was also interested in Kodak brand dual layer discs because after reading a few people's opinions about them it seems as if the only way people are getting coasters using them is when it is their own fault, or so they claim. They definitely have a better price for $25(us) for a spindle of 50 discs as compared to the same price for the verbatims where you are only getting 20 but I still feel not so comfortable about them so I went with the verbatims. I'd rather spend the more money to get the better quality anyway. I just hope they are the Singapore ones as everyone is saying.

Use cheaper media for xgd2 backups and decent verbatims for xgd3's.

Thanks for all the help everyone! Im probably just going to use verbatims for everything though because I already ordered them. Now I have another question. How will I be able to tell if theyre 001 or 003s when I get them. I guess it will be on the packaging or something but where exactly?

If not on the packaging you will have to physically place one in the drive open up imgburn. The look at the media id label on the left, there you will find out what the make/brand code is.

I guess I'll find out when I actually get them in the mail tomorrow, but from what you're saying they should be 001 because they are 2.4x. Well that's what Amazon says at least.

The Verbatims that were made in Singapore are probably the best in my opinion! They last a good long time, and the Xbox 360 has no problem reading them!
