ok so i bought a slim xbox that a guy said fell down the stairs and the drive wouldnt open now ..i got it home and the power worked and the drive tried to open ,so i tried to use the ck tool to open and no luck .then i tried to pop the drive open and when i did the drive smoked for a sec and now wont even try to eject ...so my buddy has the x360 pro and was going to use it to get the fw off the drive and install my xkey ...my ? is can i get the key off it now since it started smoking?

no ..and i tried to put my pcb board into another slim drive same type and still nothing,,,put other back together and it showed up and played ..so i guess its a video player slash streamer
