I have a slim RGH'd 360 that has a 120GB HDD in it. I also just bought a slim xbox 360 hard drive case to put my 250 HDD in it. I have heard in order to transfer the contents of the old drive to the new drive i need an transfer cable I have one but it's for the old model hard drives not slim. So what I did was open the shell for the old hard drive and just fitted my 250gb one so i can use the transfer cable. Can someone explain how exactly do i transfer everything over? I dont wanna loose all my savesa and dlc. Pretty much i dont wanna start over.

Try this link http://www.gamefront.com/how-to-transfe...-xbox-360-slim/ As you have a transfer cable its easy enough.Also make sure you transfer you license.Any dlc can be re-downloaded as its already been purchased through your xbox live account.Hope this helps..
