im starting to get "open tray" when i put the disc into the xbox it takes about a minute for it to try read the disc and it takes about 4 to 5 times of opening and closing to read the disc. would a dics drive cleaner fix the problem or do i need to take the xbox apart and try fix it that way?

anyone know any links to videos on how to acutally clean the disc sensors?

you probably have to take the xbox apart to really clean the lens's

I have never had anyluck with cleaning lens's or blowing them or doing pot adjustments or the washer trick.. i find it a hell of alot easier to spend $30 for a new drive!

but if you go that route make sure you know someone who can flash the replacement or find the service online at a mod site
