Here's the problem....I get "disk unreadable and may be dirty" error when trying to play certain games. The dvd works fine. Some games load with no problem. I have disassembled my console and cleaned what I could but with same results.

My guess is that you have LT, and not LT+ firmware on your 360. Games like AC:Brotherhood, NFS Hot Pursuit, COD MW2, COD Black Ops, Halo Reach? Those all have the new AP2.5 on them, and the images need patched and reburned once you have upgraded to LT+ in order for them to play. This doesn't affect most games, but it affects the most played games. I hope this helped.
