Do i need a Dvd drive to RGH?

i have a console with the 8955 kernel that i wana RGH. I dont have a drive or drive key. Can i still do it? Also what is the RGH dash called? Freestyle dash? Would i need freestyle dash installed to play games off a hd or usb?

Yes, or some alternative like XeXMenu. But Freestyle Dash is definitely the way to go.
