Everytime I flash there seems to be a new problem I can't figure out or find the answer to.
I don't see an updated tutorial and don't understand the dashboard stuff.
I'm going from LT+ 1.9 to what I thought was LT+ 2.0, except JungleFlasher claims it's meant for external use and not on consoles... but there is no other 2.0 in the rar for the BenQ.
I used it anyway and went through older JF tut and everything seemed to be fine, but now I can't play old games, and don't have any of the new ones that require the 2.0 yet to test.
I don't get dirty disc errors or anything, just a white XBOX 360 screen.
The JungleFlasher tutorial (Google it) gives you all the information you need for flashing.
As for the "dashboard stuff", all you really need to know is this: -
If you are on the latest dashboard, you can update your firmware without having to flash back to stock first.
If you are NOT on the latest dashboard, it's advisable to flash your drive back to stock first, update to the latest dashboard, then flash your drive with the latest LT+.
And when I say "latest dashboard" I mean the most current version of the dashboard that we know is safe, as when new dashboards come out you should never rush to install them as they may contain new protection/checks. The current dashboard (2.0.13604.0) is safe.
Also, I agree with Whompus. It looks like you've either flashed your drive with the wrong file, or the firmware you've flashed the 360 with does not contain the correct key.
Yup, I def used the 0800 one.... So what is that for? Hard drives? Or burning?
I'll get it fixed when I get home, since my dashboard should be the latest as I've done all the updates to the steps exactly over the past few years.
The JF tut I have just didn't mention anything about Dashboards etc... thats why I had to ask, otherwise it seemed fairly up to date with the latest JF beta.
I'll switch to the actual FW when I get home, instead of whatever the 0800 is then. Thanks!
