have a powered hd and non powered hd but the xk3y doesnt recognize either how do i fix

Well, the xkey won't recognize non-powered ones. The xkey has no way to power it. As for the powered one, what size is it? What brand? How is it formatted, FAT32, NTFS, etc... You need to give more info. The xkey doesn't always like every brand, every size, etc...

Also, do you know for sure that the xkey works and installed correctly and has the drive key installed on it, correctly? Have you had it working yet? A good way to test it is a thumb drive. The xkey has recognized every thumb drive I've ever used. Put a game on a thumb drive, if it plays your game from a thumb drive, you now it's installed and set up correctly.

If you know, for sure, that the xkey is working, provide the above information and someone may have suggestions.
