HDMI audio with S/PDIF audio?

Hello! Basically I was wondering if I bought an HDMI cable for my 360, would the S/PDIF audio work alongside the HDMI audio? Say if I had my Turtle Beaches hooked up via S/PDIF would I still hear sound out of my TV? The reason I'm asking is I currently have my Xbox hooked up via component cables so I know it works with a digital and analog setup but I wasn't sure about two digital ones.

Yes, but you'll need something like this:




the problem is the cable that came with the xbox is too big and covers the hdmi port up. So you'll need to get that adapter or mod the cable end. I choose to just buy that adapter.
