Hello to you all.

I am a noobie at this and i think i screwed this drive up, I have a pc with xp pro sp3. And bought a 2 SATA Serial ATA + eSATA + IDE PC PCI Controller Card VIA VT6421A. When I first started this flash the pc could see the drive using JF. All was going well when while writing bank 2 the pc froze up and thats when all went bad. I restarted the pc and now it freezes up when i turn the xbox on. i have uninstalled the raid and reinstalled still freeze. I have went to c:/ windows, system 32, drivers and deleted the driver file noted in a tut that i was using, and still nothing still get the freeze on startup on the 360. I am at a loss. I am new at this and have no idea on what to do. So I am tuning to someone on here who might know what i should do or maybe a tut. or a walk through. I prob seems to be the pc freezing up when i turn the 360 on. i am sure that if i could get help with that part of it that would be great. I bought a new drive, But from what i have read i still can flash the drive i have now. I just don't know if it is the xp with sp3? or what. So please help me. THank you so much in advance.

Rename the "viamraid.sys" file located in the c:/windows/system32/drivers directory to "viamraid.sys.backup" or whatever you want to name it to after disabling the Via card in device manager. Then go back into device manager after renaming it, and re enable the card. It'll show a yellow error mark, but that's fine.

Or, is that what you deleted?

Thosmos is correct, rename the viamraid.sys file. If you follow the JungleFlasher Guide step by step, you shouldnt have any further issues.
