Hey all,
I recently came into possession of a damaged, modded xbox, hard modded to play burned iso's. After opening and inspecting the device, and testing the hdd/ disc drive on a seperate xbox I believe that something fried on the motherboard as the hdd and disc drive still work, but the unit itself will not power on. As it is working I was wondering if it was possible if I transferred the disk drive to a separate xbox fat, and find the disk drive key, will this allow me to use the drive to play burned games on the new xbox? where is the mod chip located in a hard modded xbox? I'm very new at this, but eager to learn. Any help is appreciated.

My plan is to find the disc drive key for my working, non modded xbox, and then copy it/ flash the working, moddeed xbox drive. Will this work? how would I do it?
