Hi I have been following every guide I can but am unsure what is wrong. I have brought an Lite-on iHAS224B which I converted to 624B and flashed with the burner max firmware this solved the not enough space on disc error. I used abgx360 which had all crcs match result. I used Verbatims discs and followed the guidelines for settings in ImgBurn burning at 2.4x I then was able to play Kinectimals on my modded xbox360 I done the same with just dance 3 results were the same in abgx360 all crcsmatch it said burn successful in imgburn when I tried to play was just a blank screen. I have dashboard D.2.0.14719.0 and it is a Hitachi-LG which I presume is the drive. I dont ever use it online. As you can gather Im a novice at this so any simple advise appreciated.

What custom firmware is your drive flashed with?

Have you tried scanning your burned discs with KProbe to see if you're getting poor quality burns? You can download it here: -

Sounds to me like you have a revision 78 or 79 Hitachi drive. They haven't made LT3 for those 2 revisions yet. If this is the case, you need to wait for LT3 to be released before you can play newer games on LIVE. Of course, you should still be able to play older games.

MS decided to put System Updates on their DVDs (which flashes your drive back to stock). I know that the newer games with the new dashboard update will render your Hitachi 78/79, Lite-on, or Benq drive useless for DVD games, until it's flashed with the newest firmware. Of course, you have to reflash hitachi drives back to stock before you flash with the new firmware. Good Luck!
