help with spoof and flash

ok so i have not found any tuts personally that are exactly what im doing so i have just been reading up and now want to make sure im 100% correct before i do anything so heres what i got i have a lite-on 74850c and i have a replacement of the same model and im just going to flash it with ix lt+ so heres my steps roughly
1.connect replacement drive to pci
2.spoof my old key to my new drive
3.load up lt+
4.dos flash the firmware to new drive
5.unhook and hopefully i didn't mess up along the way
let me know if im wrong i wanted to give a rough layout so no one had to read too much like i said just looking for anything im missing or help much thanks to all and any help is appreciated.

well with the liteon 74850c you need to pen up drive and connect your sphere or probe (u can even use a piece of solder i did )across two points on drive to read your drive.use jungle flasher in stead of dos flash its a lot easyier

i guess i did miss something but what exactly will the probe be need for if i already have the drive key for my original drive and thank you for the help

you do not need the probe if you already have your key, you are correct, all you need to do is liteon erase in Jungle Flasher, open your original firmware, load lt plus, spoof source to target, write, i am assuming you had a liteon before?

sorry didnt see where you had key .yeah to reflash your other drive is a piece of cake.open j f .load up orig dummy load up lite on lt+ spoof.then go to lite on erase ,then write.shouldnt take more then 5 mins

ok so now i feel dumb when i flashed my other drive i lived at someone elses house and used ther computer i saved my original firmware on there comp and i believed my external hard drive but come to find out i think it was lite touch firmware not my original because when i load it up in jf it says lt 1.1 but i do have my drive key is there anyway of obtaining the original firmware or anotheir step to go with?

if its a 74 drive use jungle flasher and use the create keys from ixtreme hack.ive done it ,only works with this drive..trust me ive done it 3 times to 3 different xboxes.

is there anyway other than that because i can't solder i thought that was only if you didn't have your key?

alright i couldn't find anything about it from google typing in what you said so im assuming i hook up my drive than go to dvdkey 32 than hit dummy from ixtreme that what im guessing just from messing around with jf and sorry never really did anything but one flash and it was a while ago so im pretty new and rusty

as long as you have your key you are ok, with the firmware pack there is original firmware for that drive just load it, open YOUR key, auto load lt plus and spoof to target.

not to sound mean but its really not that hard.if your havin this much trouble u might not want to do it.have someone else,or let me know when your going to do it and pm me and ill give you step by step instructions while u do it.

alright i went to write in jungleflasher but it won't let me click on write so i tried doing it in dos and got unknown flash chip anybody know what im doing wrong?

sounds like your not in vendor mode, did you hit liteon erase?

i believe i have it in vender mode tray ejected and pushed in halfway and i can't hit erase all of the flash tasks are blank or unable to click on whichever describes it better. but if your talking about in dosflash i hit erase and got the unknow flash chip
Im assuming it's because i have no firmware possibly? but i have no way of obtaining my original dummy.bin as it is on somebody elses computer and my new replacement is firmwareless and my old drive has lt on it and im not able to perform an mra hack with my skills
