Hitachi 079 and new dash update

Hi my lads 360 has a hitachi 079 drive flashed to 1.3 ixtreme we get over the new game problem by using 360 patcher but now kinect sport 2 needs a new dash update, i read somewhere that the hitachi dont get flashed back to stock when you update is this correct

I am not sure about kinect sport 2, with it needing dash update you are likely going to need newer LT firmware on your hitachi to use it. Dash updating did not flash my grandson's hitachi system to stock.
