I heard that this has to be flashed in a different manner. I'm flashing my xbox for the first time and don't want to get involved with wires and the circuit board, just wanna do it the simple way with Jungle Flasher. Can someone give a link to a detailed guide on how to flash this PARTICULAR firmware version?

Ya I read that and I see no special mention of the firmware I have given above that's why I'm looking for its specific tutorial. Don't want to get involved with wires and the circuit board, just wanna do it the simple way with Jungle Flasher

The JungleFlasher tutorial is the very first thing that's linked to in the thread that RIARA mentioned. There is no more detailed a guide than that as it walks you through every step.

It seems you are looking for a super-simple, plug-n-play, 1-click soft-mod. Well, you need a PS3 for that. The Jungle Flasher tutorial gives you the simplest way to flash your Lite-On. It's not as simple as a BenQ or Samsung, but as far as Lite-Ons go, it's as simple as it's gonna get.

Just be sure to save your key or original firmware once you dump it.

It's all in the JungleFlasher guide. Try actually reading it.

Yeah I read it but I'm so unlucky to have a Liteon and I have to open the circuit and do stuff with wires and all that. I'm uncomfortable with tampering the hardware and stuff.

I heard that if I applied a dashboard update some time in the last 6 months, I no longer have 93450c anymore and have 02510 C now. And there are different tutorials for both. Which tutorial should I follow?

Are dashboard updates the same as official system updates by microsoft? I applied a system update but it re flashed my xbox back to stock firmware. So what do I have now and what should I do ? Please help me out

A system update and dashboard update are the same thing.

If you updated the dashboard and your drive was flashed back to stock, then you have an 02510C. The process for flashing it is still the same as it is in the JungleFlasher guide, but you flash it with the custom firmware for 02510C drives instead of the firmware for 93450C drives.

If your 360 is not already banned or flagged (look HERE to see how to check if it's flagged) and you want to keep using Xbox Live, then I would advise playing originals until LT+ 3.0 comes out, then flash with that. If you do flash with LT+ 2.0 now because you can't wait, then I would avoid all AP2.5 games until LT+ 3.0 comes out and you can patch the games so that AP2.5 is no longer an issue. If you don't know what the deal is with AP2.5, then look here: -

http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152...and_faq-917984/

If your 360 is already banned/flagged, then you can go ahead and flash it now, but some AP2.5 games might not boot.

Would these games fail to boot even if I try to play them offline mate?

Hey now that LT +3.0 is out, I'd like to tell you that I have dashboard version 2.0.14719.0

So I should go ahead with the flashing method for 02510C right?
