HOWTO READ NEW XGD3 GAMES

What hardware/firmware do I need to be able to read new xgd3 games?
Presently have samsung with Keron firmware which been using until now, can I still use this or do I need entire drive with this new 0800 V3 firmware ?

This is only to read, correct? Any other option like another external or internal reader (something like what most people have been using samsung with keron firmware)

What about burning/writting on to dl ?

yep the samsung no longer will work,get u a liteon ihas124 b.thats the drive to burn with.i suggested buying and old xbox drive off ebay for 20 bucks and use that to read ur games.

Oh well, so much for sammy drive, it served me for quite a long time, so I should not be complaining......I guess it's time for new hardware if I wish to continue to make back-up, correct?

Is there a drive that can do both read/write xgd3 games or like before we need 1 to read & one of the lite-on to write.

What is this with flashing 360 drive with 0800 FW, can you tell me little more? If it's flashed with this firmware does it allow you to read xgd360 preparing for a back-up?
WOuldn't this conflict with lt 2.0 that is required to play back-ups ?

Yep. You need two drives for the new XGD3 games.

1: Xbox 360 drive flashed with 0800 v3 to rip.

2: One of the following burners:
Lite-On iHAS124B
Lite-On iHAS224B
Lite-On iHAS324B
Lite-On iHAS424B
Lite-On iHAS524B
Lite-On iHAS624B
The burner has to be flashed with the Burner MAX firmware.

In order to rip, can I use current 360 drive that's already in the unit (consol) or do I need to get seperate 360 drive for this purpose?

u can use whats in the box .but u have to flash to burn then reflash back to play games

Exactly. RXV2300 if you're gonna be ripping a lot, I'd say get a spare drive.

As for read/rip what do I use, can I continute to use XBC, I know there a new version was released recently that apparently reads XGD3
