I need help. I'm new to backing up my Xbox 360 games. I need to know how to connect my LiteOn DG-16D2S DVD drive to my PC. I'm trying to save money. I do not want to buy the X360 USB or the CK3 lite if I do not have to.
I was making my back up before with my Kreon drive. which was very easy to install, but now I cannot use it for my new games...My kids are killing my new games...I need help.
So now I have a LiteOn iHAs 324-98B that I bought (Easy to connect to my PC).
and also have the Liteon DG-16D2s ( I do not know how to connect it).
I look at tutorial but I cannot find the way to connect it with out using X360 USB...
I'm trying to go cheap....Sorry.
find out what satachipset you have, hopefully it is a via, some nforce work, but via is more compatible. If either one of those chipsets are not compatible you will have to buy a via6421 sata pci card (usually around 10-15 bucks), install it in your pc, download 0800 v3 f/w for liteon, download jungleflasher, then flash your drive with an 0800 v3 f/w for your drive with jungleflasher and your set.
if you look at jungle flasher tutorial, it shows you how to do it both ways...and when you flash 0800 f/w, drive key does not matter.

Ok I bought the eSataIDE PCI Card VIa VT 6421A how do I connect the 360 DVD to power. Sorry I'm new on doing it this way. I want to connect all this externally.

- Install the 6421 drivers.
