because you can crossflash a 124b to a 324b/524b and a 224b to 424b/624b to unlock the extra features of the more expensive drives
Yea, but you need to keep in mind too that this only unlocks the software-based extra features.

PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

i am also having trouble with fifa 13, i have 2 ihas drives both are burner max. i have LT 3.0 on my xbox but game wont load and only installs to 53% it does the same on my mates xboxes aswell. any idea? thanks

See the first comment, I think he used it to burn XGD3 games? Do you think I should go for it?
The first comment is taken from amazon.com and was written on October 28, 2011, which means it's more than a year old. Of course you can try your luck, but don't be disappointed if you get a rev c. As I have written before, the rev b ones are out of production.

doesn't matter. All XDG3 games fill the disc and you burn 97% of the game, the game will NOT play right.
