I got the iHAS124-04 (C) just wanted to be sure this is one that accepts 0800 Firmware as i got to do some funny stuff to get it to read in my laptop...i thought only the B model was he ones that work but idk right this moment.

no 0800 is not the FW you use. That is ripping FW. You cannot rip with this drive. The iHAS124-04C is not a supported burner either for imax.

So in short no this one will not allow ripping...which i plainly want to do since i do need 0800 FW to rip games.....

For 0800 firmware you either need a DROM 6316 (sometimes also sold als DELL WH522) and have to modify it a little to get the only true internal drive that can rip AP2.5 and XGD3 games or you need an original Xbox 360 BenQ or LiteON drive and a power source. For burning you need one of the B-revisions of the burner you already have, the A-revision and the C-revision have a different chipset. Also the 124B is out of production.
