Hey all. So, i have a couple games that are badly scratched, and its my understanding that if they are installed, the box only needs to recognize the disc to play the game. Ive tried cleaning and 'repairing' the scratches, but it just doesnt wok. My question is, if its not ban worthy(hopefully its not :-) ) is there a way to mod the box so i can install the game using an iso file? Preferably the one from the disc itself? And a usb flash drive?

The only way you can get your xbox to read a game off your xbox's hdd without the disc in the tray is jtagging or applying a reset glitch hack.
